We Were Liars by E. Lockhart

Okay, so right now I'm sick with a cold and watching Bobs Burgers, which is like one of my all time favorite shows. So, as you know, I haven't been posting recently, I've been super busy. JK, I'm just lazy. So sorry. But I finally finished a book and it was really good.
I finished We Were Liars and HOLY HILLARY CLINTON, IT WAS SO FREAKING GOOD!!! It's about a girl and her outer family (grandparents/cousins/aunts), who are really high class and pretentious. They are the Siclair's. It tells of Candace (main character) and three of her cousins she is close with, the Liars. The whole family gets together during the summer time. During summer fifteen, there is an accident involving Candace, this accident leaves her with memory loss of the incident and headaches. She also falls in love with Gat, the son of one of her aunts boyfriend. While Candace tries to find out what happened during Summer seventeen, the story is told back in the past and then goes back to the present, which was really cool. The whole book really made you think.
I was reading this book during class and the girl sitting next to me was like "YOU ARE READING THAT?! THAT BOOK IS FAB! TALK TO ME WHEN YOU'RE DONE!!" She got me so excited for the end that I finished it that night. It was well written and the description of everything was so detailed. The author wrote this book in a great way and I will definitely read more of their work. You should all go read this. It was on Buzzfeed's 17 best YA books of 2014 (I think that's the article's name, but don't take my word for it) and I got this book for Christmas, this was a really good present. My mom knew what she was doing.

Sorry Everyone!!

Im so sorry I haven't been posting recently. It's been a crazy week and I'm reading a snooze-fest of a book. I would review it when I'm done, except I feel really badly when I review a bad book, so I've decided not to do it just yet. I will definitely review a book during my school break which is next week. A giant pet peeve of mine is starting a book and being able to finish it, so I try not to do it, that is why I always finish a book, no matter how bad it it. I'm super excited for Christmas and to go ice skating on Saturday and Monday. Leave me a comment of what you're looking forward to over Christmas break, go follow me on instagram @b1bli0phil3 and twitter @pigsalamode101

The Half Life of Molly Pierce by Katrina Leno

Hello my lovelies, My heart is racing since it is now December and I did finish a book this week. One of the best ones I have ever read. This book is about Molly Pierce, a 18 year old girl who doesn't remember half her life. Every once in a while, she blacks out and wakes up doing something different. When a boy named Lyle gets hit by a car in front of her, he knows her name, asking her not leave him, but she doesn't know who he is. After he dies, she starts to remember bits and pieces of the life she has been missing.
This book really hit me hard. There were some many emotions coming from the pages. Molly had  depression (among other things) and mental illness is something I feel very strongly about. It added so much reality to the book. The characters showed so many real characteristics that I felt like they were actual people standing right besides me. I finished this book in like 4 days, I couldn't put it down. You should all read this book.
Yesterday, at my school, they were given away smencil-grams, which are notes attached with smencils sent to you by your friends. I got 3 from my best friends and I gave 3 to them. I knew some people who got none and I felt really bad because some people got like 5 or 6. This isn't relevant to the review, but I wanted to tell everyone that if you want to feel good or do something good, and if your school does this, you should buy someone one because not everyone feels as comfortable making friends as you. It would really make someones day.

Transparent by Natalie Whipple

Hola! Today is the day after Thanksgiving and I feel as if I'm about to explode. But, I did finish a book and a pretty good one at that. Transparent. This book hit me with feels so hard that I had to take multiple moments to breathe. It is about a girl who is invisible, I don't mean like people don't notice her, I mean she is literally see through. Her dad is an evil con-man who has been making her do the dirty work of his underground drug company for years and she and her mom are sick of it. Her mom takes Fiona to a small town in  the middle of nowhere. This is where they are going to start their new lives. The book basically tells how they escape from Fiona's dad and what they do to stay away.
I really love this book!!!!!! I've heard around the blogosphere that it's a series and that would be almost as good as meeting Fall Out Boy. This book has everything that I love. Teenage romance, super powers, violence, family issues. I love the sassiness of the characters and the character development of almost all the characters. Transparent also has sorta a science and genetic twist in it which made me like it even more. This author is a gorgeous writer and I really wish I could think of something so out of the box and never done before, like this book. Once again, I LOVE THIS BOOK!!

Feed by M.T. Anderson

Hello my precious people and happy Friday to everyone. Yesterday I finished a book called Feed, which is by a genius, M.T. Anderson. The feed is a transmitted put in your brain early on in your life and it basically does everything for you, read, talk, even order things online (which I think is very cool, but others might disagree). The main character is Titus a teenage boy who has lived his entire life with the feed. He and his friends go to the moon for spring break and he meets Violet. A girl who has started a project on confusing or resisting the feed. They go partying together, with a bunch of Titus' other friends and are all touched by a protester. This protester injects a virus into their feed, which puts them in a hospital, that is where Titus and Violet become more than friends.
I really enjoyed this book. It was high tech, romantic and had a teenage vibe the entire time, which I could totally relate to. It was such a different reality from the modern world we live in now that the author must have been a genius. This book was a National Book Award Finalist (plus many more awards) and I could see why. It was well written and had so many detailed characters, which I love (it makes me feel as if I know them). This book is futuristic yet within this decade all at the same time. Once again I love this book and you should all read it.

Dead River by Cyn Balog

If you like creepy but not heart stopping scary this is something for you. This book is about a girl named Kiandra who goes to spend the weekend at Dead River with her boyfriend, Justin, Her cousin, Angela, and a guy named Hugo.  Justin and Angela convince Kiandra to go river rafting on Dead River. When she was young, her mom committed suicide on this river, which makes her seriously afraid of water. While rafting, she falls in and that's just the beginning of it.
I liked this book, I have had it for a while and decided to read it on a whim. It was a really quick read, only like 200 pages. I thought it was quite good. It definitely made me scared to go in open waters. To me it seemed like a far fetched story, but I guess that's what made it good. The synopsis led me to different idea of what kind of other people there were at the river, but it was a good surprise. There is a romantic side to this which drew me in more and added a little flare to it. All in all, I really liked this book.

Welcome
